Lend Borgs a Hand
Mark Borgen “Borgs” has been a reliable centerman and a great teammate for over 20 years. A native of Minnesota and a huge Boston Bruins fan, Borgs plays both ice and roller hockey whenever he can. It was during a recent ice hockey game that Mark went into the boards hard, injuring a shoulder he’d already had surgically repaired years ago. His second surgery in late December was a success but, as a self-employed electrician, the necessary time off to recover (up to four months) creates a real financial hardship. Onsite work, like crawling through tight spaces and raising arms overhead just isn’t possible. Donations will allow Borgs to take the time off for physiotherapy and to properly heal so he can get back to winning faceoffs this summer.
