Lawton Davis impacted quite a few lives during his time on this earth. From to his teammates on the soccer pitch , to the students in his classroom, to his fellow mountain bikers on the trails, to his beloved family at home, Lawton was someone that certainly made the most of his 44 years. The Carolina native lived an active life of adventure and passion centered around his beautiful family. Laura, Logan and Colby are doing their very best to pick of the pieces but it’s obviously been a difficult transition.
As many of us involved in this great mission that is DAWG Nation Hockey Foundation are aware, the “C” word is an unavoidable fact of life. We have learned unfortunately than another family in our community has experienced massive loss this year at the hands of the dreaded “C.”
The Davis family are local to Grand County, Lawton Davis tragically passed recently leaving behind a beautiful family and countless loyal friends to grieve.
DAWG has been working with family friends in a neighboring town to host a 3v3, pond hockey style tournament in Fraser, CO on 10/21/23. We encourage you to enter a team into this excellent fundraiser with net proceeds benefitting the Davis family.
