Continuing Our Journey with Jon Orelt
In the spirit of continuing to walk along our recipients along their journey, we are helping Jon’s family and friends host an indoor “pond hockey sytle” tournament at the Affton Ice RInk in St. Louis, Missouri. We were honored to present Jon and his family a check for $13,450.
His Team Rallies to Host Tournment
After September, this young man’s life changed forever when he was electrocuted and suffered broken neck in a freak accident in St. Louis. Since then, his family, friends and teammates are rallying to create a great tournament. Jared Schmierbach and Matt Heath of the Fighting Amish, Jon’s friends and teammates as well as Jon’s dad, Al Orelt, are all pitching in to put this benefit tournament together with the help of DAWG Nation.
