It’s never boring when Jannie’s in town! Sleep was secondary as my big Czech friend spent three action packed daze with me.
As we made the early trek to the airport we chatted about life, family, friendship, and the future. Heading back home I thought to myself, “I really couldn’t ask for a better friend.”
Jan is of course a world class athlete that has competed at the very highest levels, despite that, he never ever thinks he’s better than you. I watch him as he smiles, laughs, and carries the conversation with literally anybody. He’s emotional when he shares stories of those that have faced tragedy, heartache or just need a lift. Truly world class both on and off the ice.
