Sean was diagnosed with ALS in November of 2014. At the time he was attending Life University in Atlanta, Georgia, and in his first year of study to become a Chiropractor.
Sean’s hockey participation began at the age of 6 in the Pikes Peak Amatuer Hockey Association in Colorado Springs. He played thru all levels which culminated with 2 years playing for the Midget AAA Pikes Peak Miners. Success with the Miners allowed him to be selected to attend the Select 17 camp in St. Cloud, Minnesota. A series of injuries interrupted his pursuit to play NCAA Division I hockey. Instead, he accepted an opportunity for an academic scholarship to Wagner College in New York where he played 4 years of Division 2 club hockey which included 3 visits to the Division 2 National Championships. After graduation Sean worked in the financial field in Manhattan until his decision to pursue Chiropractic in 2013.
