What an emotional roller coaster this last week has been. From lifting up those that needed a little boost, to helping tell the stories of some of our unsung heroes, to saying goodbye to my best friend, to helping create lifetime memories for those that deserve it most, to comforting friends going through the most difficult times of their lives.
I look back and wonder how I fit it all in. And then, with my hands crossed, I look up and understand where the strength, energy, passion and compassion come from. Giving back fills me up and, like a drug, creates the desire to do it over and over.
I needed to keep busy last week as our house felt empty with a touch of sadness in the air. Thank you all for the beautiful and kind words in regard to my little Maggie. I live a very blessed life, and that is because of all of you. God Bless and here’s to another week of lifting each other up!
